so very not impressed so far. moved BIONICALLY fast for a first episode. acting was meh. i mean, i can admit that Birds of Prey was no masterpiece but it worked better than this. i think it would've been better if they had stretched out the whole 'we're keeping you captive til we decide what to do with you bit' and everything before that and have it end at her picking up the bionic speed. something like that. then pick up episode two with her coming back and getting RAR'd at by bratty sister.

i guess as i wasn't really expecting/looking forward to this premiere, i'm not superbly disappointed but from what i saw, it wasn't very good. i dunno, maybe i'll give it a couple more episodes to see if it picks up at all.

House premiere was LOLZ even with the team being broken up and all. while i'll miss the old crew, it'll be interesting to see the what lengths the new candidates will go to to get the positions. with Cuddy and Wilson there to say ZOMGSNUO with a very disapproving/perplexed/offended look on their faces.

on a non-tv related note, the first week of school is almost done and so far my PC Windows class seems to be the most interesting in that my teacher looks like he could be a distant relative of James Earl Jones but with Billy Cosby's sense of humor/delivery. i hope to make it to my English class tomorrow provided i can find some FUCKING PARKING. Ethics...i may end up dropping because the teacher is just...not so good. he just sort of rambles on about different subjects, one hardly really having to do with another, constantly going off on tangents, then comes back to the point of orgin 30-45mins later and on top of that, he's practically mumbling half of the time. i...i don't know if it's because it was the first day so he didn't really set up a lesson plan of any sort but if it's the same tomorrow...ugh. DROPPED.

also, i asked my mom what she thought about me learning to ride a motorcycle...

"You can learn to ride a motorcycle when you get health insurance..."

at which point, it won't help my current needs of being able to find decent parking as i probably won't have health insurance until after i graduate and find a steady job of some sort... bah. :/

We had these out in the middle of the walkway stacked up when I first saw them on my way to the cafe for my lunch break... By the time my lunch break was over, they were putting them in a more discreet location. XD I'm sure some soccer mom complained...


i mean, i know Japan has the little anime/manga figurines that will talk to you if you plug them in via USB but...COME ON! n.n;
