so i snapped a few pics of people in line for the iPhone at my store. darn camera on the razr sucks bawlz but i tried. this one was taken on my way into my shift and the other two were taken after i got out. it'll be interesting to see how long the line is when i get to work at 7am~ :3

only other thing i have to report is that after training today, we officially saw that we had campers for the iPhone outside our doors. small group but DANG. they like had a complete set up! i saw a monitor at least but i didn't linger around to see where they were getting power or what they were hooking the monitor up to. i just hope they don't roast too much tomorrow. i totally should've gotten a picture of them though... maybe i'll get one tomorrow... XD

okay, no more covering for people at work when it'll turn out that i'm working 6 days in a row. it just seems to throw my karma energy into the twilight zone or something.

- i've been having some bizarre ass dreams that...aren't necessarily bad/nightmarish but they are kind of disturbing/unsettling on an emotional level. just...oddness i tell ya.

- my sales have suffered something awful. i haven't been able to approach customers at that key time where they're ready to ask questions that lead to BUYING. maybe it's because it's a holiday weekend and people were hoping for a sale of some sort from us but yeah... i saw desktops and laptops being sold, just none from me. :/

- i SERIOUSLY thought it was monday today. it FEELS like a monday to me. i think part of my mind is still convinced it's monday and i've been up for nearly 25 minutes. just blergh.

on the flipside...

- i WILL be going to see Paramore on the 28th in Reno. i missed they're SJ show so i wanted to make this one but it's not necessarily a trip i wanted to make on my own. going to the SF alone was fine but Reno? meh...it'd be like going to Vegas completely alone... DX so it seemed like i wasn't going to be able to go but thankfully my aniki in cheekawgoh (who got me into Paramore in the first place) wanted to see them live...and gamble at the casinos because he has 'money to blow' so i am going! whee~

i figure i'll drive up there the day before so i'll have a night/part of the day to rest before the concert, do the concert, get some sleep then drive back the next day. i made the mistake of driving to Angel's Camp for a rave and thinking i'd be alright for the night but i got tired SO FAST so i wasn't able to dance around and such as much as i liked so this time, i'm giving myself ample resting time. it's not as long of a drive as to LA or Vegas (so says google maps) but i'm sure it'll be plenty tiring nonetheless.

...so is there anything to do in Reno besides my concert, gambling and ski/snowboarding that anyone can think of? like any good restaurants to try or the like? i'll probably go to Circus Circus for old times sake and do the buffet there but anything else? :x

waaaaaah all the book training is done so now i get to shadow one of the current specialists around for a couple of days before giving it a go myself. hopefully, things will go well but even if they don't, they told us that if we don't feel comfortable being on the floor yet, they're willing to wait until we do feel up to it. i think i'll do alright but the Apple way of customer service is done way different than any other place i've been and i'm hoping i can de-program myself of the 'sales pitch' type of mindset asap. we'll see how it goes~ :D

also, Kurenai and Macross Frontier are fun. i am enjoying them lots so far~ LISTEN TO MY SONG! XD

ah well, at least it was totally worth the effort of staying up til 6am to finish my transcribing. i was the ONLY person in the class to turn something in, and while it wasn't perfect (it's a bit on the long side and i didn't have the time codes for when i wanted to end a scene but she forgave that because i told her that the examples she had didn't have them either so NYEAH~), i still got it in on time, thus...i got first pick at equipment today! \o/ i also snagged the shotgun mic this time instead of the handheld sennheiser, which is awesome but picks up WAY too much and i get a lot of empty air hiss.

in good but also really sucky news, my afternoon photo class is cancelled again, like it was on monday. the reason? my photo teacher's father passed away. :/ i feel bad. he's really a great professor and i'm loving everything he teaches us in the class. even though it's viciously late, i send my prayers and condolences to him and his family...

XD) say hello, world! :D she's a cute, beautiful tiny thing and very easy to love. she's a bit on the pale side but y'never know, she might get more 'brown' later. ;3 she does seem to have the smooshed filipino nose and chubby cheeks though, as well as dark hair and eyes. a lot of the family on our side was thinking it'd be a boy since both of my parents' parents had boys then girls, then my mom and dad & aunt and uncle had a boy then girl. it was a pleasant surprise though! :D but yeah, 7 lbs 4 oz, 21" long, healthy lookin' baby niece. :3
